The climb into the mountains was about 2-1/2 miles long. The ocean beach got smaller as I gained about 1000 feet in elevation during the run. |

| I didn't find the end of the trail, but I made my own end and turned around for the long downhill run back to the car. |
| The next day, we packed up and headed back home with many happy memories and shared experiences together. |
