From Nostalgiaville |
| We are reluctant to leave the outrageous beauty of the Glacier area, but alas we must drive on westward. The high mountains give away to more prairie-like land as we head toward Idaho. | ![]() |

| Before we enter Idaho, the road follows a scenic river. We bag a few less-than-choice rocks, along with some choice scenery | ![]() |

| We finally clear Montana and rolled across the border of Idaho. The drive had been long and uneventful so we found The Depot RV park in the first major town called Wallace, Idaho. |
|
| There had been extensive mining for gold around the town back in the 1800's to the mid 1900's. There was even a large creek near the town that had been dredged... with rocks everywhere... but they were U-G-L-Y and we were hard pressed to bag a few to haul back over the mountains. After about a 50 mile drive, much over bumpy gravel roads, about the only thing I had to show for the effort was one wild flower picture. |

The landscaping and flowers surrounding the RV park were a thing of interest and beauty, and we just had to snap a few pictures before we left the next morning. |
