WARFIELD PARK, MISSISSIPPI

 

 This off-the-beaten-path enclave is a surprise waiting to happen to RV travelers, campers, and park enthusiasts in general.  It sits serenely on the banks of the mighty Mississippi River in a bend with an unobstructed view in both directions.

I was treated to an air show with flocks of birds providing synchronized maneuvers.

An historic barge sits high and dry on the river bank.  Plans are made to refurbish the boat and make it part of the park

For those inclined to climb four stories of stairs, a wonderful view awaits them of the bend in the river and surrounding areas.
