| Now, I have a theory about the great state of Montana. God didn't have much to do one day... so He (or She to be politically correct) decided to "monkey around" with the world It had created a couple of days before. It thought... "I believe that I will add a Garden of Eden... but first I need a practice shot". |
| So, It created Montana, and It looked down
and said aloud, "Wow... I did good. Now I'm ready to do the
Garden". And It did the Garden of Eden in a blink of its eye. When It peered down again at the new world, It frowned and said, "The Garden of Eden looks OK... but Montana looks a hell-of-a-lot better. Now, I've got to put people somewhere, but if I put them in Montana, they will just screw it up". |
| So God dropped Adam and Eve in the Garden and saved Montana, his best creation, for future generations... that's me... and here I am! |
| Montana is an experience worth savoring. It's nickname, "Big Sky Country" is appropriate, because everything seems bigger than life. As one drives through the state, there are literally a hundred pictures per mile. If I had stopped everywhere I wanted to take a picture, I would have taken days to get to my stop for the night... Great Falls, Montana. |
| There's grander every where. I parked on the side of the road and took a picture of the Yellowstone River on my right and mountains on my left. |
| I almost literally ran into a family driving cattle down the middle of the road. You can see rain storms from far off in "Big Sky Country". | ![]() |
