4 BEARS CASINO, NORTH DAKOTA |
| The 4 Bears Reservation Casino was one of my favorite stops on a six week trip north. The people were friendly and the grounds and park were scenic and worth exploring |

| On the western side of the bridge sits a park that outlines the history of the Indians of the Three Affiliated Tribes. I found this history of the people and the area of great interest and I tried to summarize it from the markers found in this park. For those who are interested you can check it out through this LINK. The park is also the starting point of a paved bicycle trail that crosses the bridge and terminates in New Town about 5 miles away. |

| Rock hunting at Four Bears was pretty exciting. Most of the finds were at a gravel pit behind the casino. Petrified wood was found in multiple locations in the state and was well represented in the finds at Four Bears. |
