When one thinks of Oklahoma, it is not of visualizing water... and water falls... no way!  But if one flees the Interstates and concentrates on the back roads and by-ways of the state, many unimaginable gems appear on the landscape.  Turner Falls is certainly one of those gems.

THE CASTLE
Inspired by Olde English Architecture, the castle was constructed with Native materials in the early 1930's by Dr Ellswoth CoIllings, a professor at Oklahoma University for many years.  The structure served as the BAR-C Ranch as well as Dr Collings summer home.
