| Bicycling | There are about 20 miles of roads suitable for
bicycles in park About half of the roads are paved and the rest are gravel or unimproved No bicycling is allowed on hiking trails The roads abound with hills Short stretches are level such as the campground roads The rest of the roads are narrow and full of hills and should be ridden only by experienced cyclists The scenery on a bicycle in the park is great, but expect to pay the price with hills |

| Park is the site of
birthplace of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church The Cumberland Presbyterian Church was organized on February 10, 1810. Rev Finis Ewing, Samuel McAdow and Samuel King met in McAdow's cabin. First Synod was organized 1813 General Assembly was formed 1820 The cabin and church were located at a site now in Montgomery Bell Park. A replica of McAdow's cabin was erected in 1956. A chapel was built next to the cabin in 1961 Church services are held at 9:00 AM Memorial Day through Labor Day |
