Was twice governor of Massachusetts

William T Bryan
The following information was provided by J
Bryant
Born in Surry County, North Carolina
Bryan's teenage years were spent in Hawkins County
Married Didama Spires in Sneedville by Richard Mitchell on November 23, 1849
Bryant had three children, all born in Hawkins County
They were named Sarah Jane, Rachael Ann, and James E W Bryan
Capt Bryant, served in the Civil War with Company B, 9th Ky Volunteers
Bryant was killed at age 37 in Murfreesboro, Tenn on January 2, 1863
