During our recent travels we had heard tales from several sources about the existence of geodes in Rutherford County, Tennessee near Murfreesboro.  We called a friend, Don Castleman, who lives in the area to get directions to bag a few of the stony gems.

We left with empty bags... minds full of delightful nature scenes, and a sense of completing another of life's simple adventures.
