And finally he climbs to the top of the hill to get a panoramic view of a beautiful New Mexico landscape. |

| Boy is this going to be
difficult to put into words that can express the beauty and splendor of this
day! Instead of putting the day into words we hope that the following pictures will give you some sort of idea of what this area is like. If you like the west then you should see this for yourself once in your lifetime. This morning we drive up to Carlsbad Caverns, take pictures, and walk to the "natural entrance" to descend almost 800 feet down a switch-back path. After a little over a mile of countless view-points, we reach the dining area in the "big-room" and elevators which whisk us to the surface, almost 80 stories above. |
