After the rock show we travel west to Lordsburg, New Mexico, and stay at a KOA. campground. After finding our parking spot we just can't sit still. Instead of relaxing, we head off in the Tracker to a restored ghost town nearby called Shakespeare. Wyatt Earp used to party here. |

A couple of miles beyond Shakespeare... you guessed it... we go rock hunting in the tailings of some old mines. |

A herd of cows stop by and says a good evening to us, and a couple of jack rabbits hop down the bunny trail in front of us. |

In between rock hunting and bunny watching, we gather a few more pictures of the unique plant life in the desert around Lordsburg. |

| We are going to leave Lordsburg this morning, but first we want one last crack at the rocks of thearea. A drive back toward Shakespeare, taking the left fork at the cemetery, produces great scenery, but few rocks for our efforts. |

We take great delight in "show-n-tell" when we review our rock finds. |
